Quality & Compliance

Quality is a process, not a certificate

Anyone can display a logo. What matters to a buyer is what happens to a material between a supplier's claim and your receiving dock — and that is a sequence of specific, checkable steps.

Supplier qualification

Before a material enters our catalogue, the producing facility is audited against a written checklist: regulatory registration, quality system, testing capability, traceability records and change-control practice. Materials from unaudited sources are not sold.

Incoming lot testing

Every incoming lot is sampled and tested for identity, assay against the stated specification, heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury), microbiological limits including pathogens, and residual solvents where the extraction method requires it. A lot that misses specification is quarantined and rejected — never blended down to pass.

Third-party verification

We routinely send retained samples to independent ISO 17025 accredited laboratories to verify our own results. When an independent result disagrees with a supplier certificate, the independent result governs.

Manufacturing controls

Finished-goods production runs under 21 CFR Part 111 in an FDA-registered facility. Every batch carries a batch production record, in-process checks on weight and hardness, and a finished-goods release test against the approved specification before anything ships.

Documentation supplied

  • Lot-specific Certificate of Analysis with method references
  • Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS)
  • Technical and specification sheet
  • Allergen, GMO, gluten and BSE/TSE statements
  • Kosher and Halal certification where applicable
  • Accelerated and real-time stability data
  • Complete lot traceability, raw material to finished pallet

Retention and recall

Retained samples of every lot are held for the full shelf life plus one year. Our recall procedure is tested annually by mock recall, and reconciles complete lot genealogy within four hours.
