Tablet Compression & Coating
Direct-compression and granulated tablets — plain, film-coated, chewable or bilayer — compressed and coated to your specification.
Tablets give you the most actives per unit of any solid format and the lowest cost per serving at scale. They are made either by direct compression of a free-flowing blend or, when the blend will not compress well, by granulating it first. A film coat then makes the tablet easier to swallow, masks taste and protects the core from moisture.
Every tablet format is a balance between hardness and how quickly the tablet breaks down. We develop the blend, compression force and coating together, then confirm that tablets disintegrate within dietary-supplement limits (USP <2040>) while staying robust enough to survive bottling and shipping.
