Product overview

Multi-layer laminate has displaced rigid packaging across much of the supplement category, and the reason is barrier performance rather than cost. An aluminium foil layer gives a near-absolute oxygen and moisture barrier — better than HDPE, and better than glass once a jar has been opened and reclosed a few times.

We supply stand-up pouches from 50 g to 5 kg for bulk and retail, three-side-seal sachets and stick packs from 1 g to 30 g for single-serve dosing, and flat barrier bags for bulk ingredient shipping.

Pouches ship empty for your own filling line, or we fill and seal them for you under our contract manufacturing programme — including printed film to your artwork, in-line checkweighing, tear notches, batch coding and expiry printing.

Can you fill the sachets for me?

Yes. Under our contract manufacturing programme we fill and seal sachets and stick packs from 1 g to 30 g, with in-line checkweighing, tear notches, batch coding and expiry printing. You can supply the product or we can manufacture it as well.

What is the minimum order for printed pouches?

10,000 units for custom-printed film, because rotogravure cylinders have to be made for the artwork. Plain stock pouches are available from 1,000 units, and digital printing can lower the printed minimum on smaller sizes — ask when requesting a quote.

Which laminate structure should I choose?

PET/AL/PE gives the best barrier and is the right choice for oxygen-sensitive or hygroscopic products. PET/VMPET/PE costs less with a slightly lower barrier and suits shorter shelf lives. Kraft/AL/PE gives a natural paper look with full barrier for clean-label positioning.

Can we make this to your specification?

Yes. Mesh size, assay strength, blend ratio, packaging format and label are all specifiable. We are your turnkey manufacturing partner — if you need this material milled differently, blended with another active, or delivered as a finished encapsulated product under your own brand, that is ordinary work for us rather than an exception.
